Your blog is very interesting. And makes me think about a band that I love, DELEYAMAN who's singer is an american and has Greek origins.
Apparently better known in northern and eastern Europe but also in the USA, they have a solid reputation in some underground scene on the net.
The singer Aret Madilian is the ex leader of the post-punk band "Wog". i can hear his first influences(Wire, The Stranglers, Magazine, Joy Division ...) on the post -punk title called "Temples" from their fourth album "Fourth, Part One". This album always immerses me in a deep , dark and melancholic atmosphere
